SEPL project launched

Combination and analysis of energy data – these two aspects are the focus of the Smart Energy Platform (SEPL) research project launched on 1 September 2015. The restructuring of energy supply generates large amounts of data, for example through increasing decentralized feeding of renewable energies as well as through modern, so-called “intelligent building services” (Smart Home). Through efficient analysis, this data can provide information on the needs and requirements of energy consumers. In the EU-funded project SEPL, the participating scientists of the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) e. V. are therefore working on the development of a platform that makes energy data accessible and usable, for example with regard to the development of new value-added services by SMEs.
